What is Simp?

Welcome to Simp Lite, Secway's Instant Messenger Privacy Lite, and thanks for choosing a Secway product.

Simp Lite is an instant messaging Service add-on that encrypts your instant messages before sending them over the Internet, to ensure your privacy.

Simp allows you to chat freely over the MSN Messenger, AIM, ICQ, Yahoo! services without fearing your messages being read by third parties such as computer crackers or even government agencies.

The only requirement is that you and your online friends have installed Simp!

Simp does this by installing itself between your standard IM client and the IM servers run by Microsoft (or AOL, ICQ, Yahoo!), and using state-of-the-art cryptography. Simp is thus called a cryptographic proxy, meaning it wraps your messages in a cryptographic envelope before they leave your computer, and unwraps incoming crypted messages before they are delivered to your IM client.
